Re:The Guitar Reference Library

Congratulations Ric. You just can't go wrong with good material. Do you have a video of your performance that you could share? I would love to see it.

Re:Nail Care

I had no idea that you ladies had such difficulties with your nails. I just take some wire cutters and a metal file to mine every other week or so and I'm good! lol

Re:Tommy Emmanuel Question

Thanks guys, I think you nailed it. My friend must have been talking about Martin Tallstrom's version of the song. It is excellent. I needed a break from 'Classical Gas' and this should keep me busy for awhile.

Lute

If you will, I will give you a quarter (paypal of course). lol

I have always loved the sounds those wonderful instruments can produce.
<br/...

Re:Classical

I would also suggest Bach's "Air on a G String". It's probably only only for the little more advanced players, but many of the guitar arrangements are just beautiful. I'm sure Neil has an arrangement of his own.

Re:What do you practice and for how long?

<t>I have guitars stashed all over the house! lol I keep one next to my desk at my office, and when I am working on a problem I will pick up the guitar and play until I come up with a solution to my work problem. Could be 5 minutes, could be several hours.
I also have a guitar in the TV room. ...
