I dont know if I have a favorite progression but I often cant stand the sound of a first position open A cord for some reason. Odd because I tend to play a lot of A lead licks :blink:

Both were Monster Guitar players as well as innovators. Chet was interviewed once and was asked who he would pay to see play and he said, Doyle Dykes, when asked who was the best player he ever seen he quickly answered "Bar None Jerry Reid."
