Re: Feedback on new website - transition from Old to New
Hi Walt, Bart and Jameela, The discussion on search between being logged and not is specific to the new website. The old website works fine for search, albeit the new website when not logged in is superior to the old website while the old site is superior to the new website if logged in. Needless to...

Re: Feedback on new website - transition from Old to New
Understood, but to streamline it, you can just have two windows open, one logged in, one not. Probably faster to find what you're looking for than the current search mechanism when logged in. Just saying! It's what I do as it's much faster and easier. Hopefully it will be updated soon.

Re: Feedback on new website - transition from Old to New
Hi Walt, The best way to search until they get the site updated is to logout, then search what you're looking to find, copy the link to the page you're looking for, then login once you've copied it. Logging in will pop a new window, so you will then need to paste the link to the lesson in the new wi...

Re: Feedback on new website - transition from Old to New
Thanks, Neil. I suspect that many of your early fingerstyle arrangements of the Beetles would be of most interest to the broader market, but many of your pieces off of Yesterday's News are quite outstanding as well and I would definitely purchase lessons of them! Sweet Child is one of my favorite pi...

Re: Feedback on new website - transition from Old to New
Hey Neil, While I'm enjoying being a mega tester, I really do have a full-time job already! Thank you for your thoughtful response to setting the level of difficulty for a song. I now understand the challenges, and it does depend upon the player's prior training and preferences. I'm still surprised ...

Re: Feedback on new website - transition from Old to New
Thanks, Jameela. I also noticed that there are several lessons that don't have the level set for them. Two examples are: Mood for A Day by Yes and Fire and Rain by James Taylor. Both of these lessons should be Intermediate, but currently they have No Level set. Also, with the old site, you not only ...

Re: Feedback on new website - transition from Old to New
Hi Neil,
One other item, I know you went through all the lesson packs, but at some point, you'll want to review the categories that various lessons are being placed. For example, Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring - J.S. Bach - Classical Guitar Lesson, is categorized as Pop instead of Classic.

Re: Feedback on new website - transition from Old to New
Hi Neil, I thought I would provide a bit more feedback as I'm still uncovering some issues. 1) Since I have only a free membership and purchase lessons or lesson packs, I see some aspects about the site that other members do not. For example, there are several lessons that when you click on them say...

Re: Feedback on new website - transition from Old to New
Hi Neil,
Thanks for your reply! Yes, the two lesson packs now look good, and I'm able to access all the songs per the prior website. I like the new website, and I look forward to the updates as you roll them out. Let's connect in person soon, once it's safe to do so!

Feedback on new website - transition from Old to New
Hi, I've been working with the new website since it's most recent launch, and have noticed some items for improvement. 1) When logged in, you can no longer search for a lesson by name, which is quite problematic. The site rather displays the use of three tier filtering mechanism only. When not logge...
