Re:A long distance collaboration
<t>lol...I did see the mixing part, but unless you want me to cut in exciting and dramatic clips of me at the computer keyboard, I won't appear in the video. I'll play a bit, sing a bit, perhaps harmony and mix it all together. <br/> <br/> Would you like a reference track? I'll play the whole thing ...

What a great mixture of occupations all sharing a common interest.
As for me, I'm an entomologist working as a food safety technologist. It's amazing what's out there if you just take the time to look.

Re:Hello from Southern Ontario (Canada)
Hey Brian. Welcome to the community. I'm also from Southern Ontario (Orangeville). This is a great site. I can honestly say that in the short time that I have been with TG, my playing has improved significantly and I'm really only a beginner.

Re:Hey from Toronto
<t>Hey welcome Dano from a fellow Torontonian. You've come to the right place. This is a great site. I've been with TG for about 3 months now and have enjoyed every minute of it. As far as the Leafs are concerned, although I bleed blue and white, I don't see any hope for this year. It's downright em...

Re:Gordon Lightfoot
Al: Gord's back in Toronto for a show at Massey Hall in November. I've seen him several times in concert throughout his career. He's lost a lot of his voice but he is still one of the best songwriters ever. I agree, he would be a great addition to TG.

bad habits
<t>Neil: I'm a newbie to the guitar (about 1 year now)and I have really enjoyed the lessons on TG. However, I would like to break some bad habits that I can see happening. One in particular that I'm having trouble with is keeping the face of the guitar in a more vertical position. I start out fine b...

Down Under
Neil: I've been going through some older CD's (and yes records) and I came across a song I haven't heard in a while.."Down Under" by Men At Work. Any chance of doing something with this in the Campfire Songs?

Another newbie
<t>Greetings from Toronto, Ontario. Well after 40 years I've finally kept the promise that I made to myself and took up the guitar. I've been at it for about a year now, mostly self taught but with a few lessons thrown in for good measure. When I tuned in to the TG site I knew that I found something...

Re:Simon & Garfunkel, anyone?
I'm new to TG (just joined last week)but I'm glad to see interest in the old S&G tunes. Kathy's Song is one of my favourites. I hope to see it covered as well.
