Re: I would love to see more... (poll inside)
I would love to see more [busking stuff] on the forum. Those were a lot of fun and made me learn complete songs. Now, if I pick up my guitar, I play about 2 partial songs and then just walk away. :-( Hi Daryl, Great to hear from you. Yeh I also love the busking posts, just like Neil too. It’s alway...

Re: Forum question - how do you subscribe to a thread now?
Hi @TGNeil,
I just got a red flashing notification at the top of my screen, notifying me that you responded to this thread. I’m not sure whether I missed it the first time or you’ve changed something, but it’s working within the TG site at least now.
Thanks.
Michele

I would love to see more... (poll inside)
Hi everyone, Well the most voted on option form the last poll I posted was that the forum is too quiet. So here I am again in an attempt to find a way to liven it up again. How can we get the forum buzzing again like it once did? For those of you willing to add a post to this thread, complete this s...

Re: Forum question - how do you subscribe to a thread now?
Hi TGNeil I’m just dropping by to let you know that I don’t think the thread subscription function is working. I subscribed to my latest Layla thread, Ness responded, but I didn’t get a notification by email nor through the notification indicator at the top of the forum; I.e. the number next to the ...

Re: Andante by Fernando Sor Op. 31 No. 1
Hi TGVanessa I’m just back to answer your question. Yes I’ve learned, if not mastered, some pieces that are called classical in the library: - Greensleeves - Romanza And I’ve also spent some time on the classic exercises that Hector Garcia put up. They are of course great to play for a range of reas...

Rock legend - 50th anniversary of Layla
Hi all, I read this great article today about Eric Clapton’s relationship with Duane Allman, Derek and the Dominos and Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs. Today is the 50th anniversary of the album. Apparently, Eric Clapton's song Layla was supposed to win back his love, but ... The story is intere...

Re: Patsy Cline, Strange by Ysela Lujan
Ysela, A newbie you say! Damn! Add gutsy, a fast learner and talented to the list. Very cool upload. Patsy is a legend and your voice is perfect for her music. I’m particularly impressed with the phrasing of your singing. The amount of emotion and the way she draws things out is challenging to sing....

Re: Judy Garland Over The Rainbow by Craig
Craig, This is already sounding really good. I haven’t watched the review, but I’m guessing the advice in there will help to make it sound even better. Your playing is so chilled and smooth. Your fingers are moving so fluidly and ... well it looks good as well as sounding good. Thanks for sharing. A...

Re: What are you up to? Drop by and say hi - poll inside
Hi everyone one, I guess most of you not in a talkative mood or you’re somehow finding it challenging to respond to this thread. No worries I often feel like that too. Thanks to those of you who responded to the poll. Some of you have the same reasons for not posting much as me. I notice someone cho...
