Yeah; no one would care. Just like we didn't care Hendrix recorded other's music. I am definitely scratching my head. Wonder what Buddy Guy was thinking during the award ceremony?

Actually I have heard The Rain Song was lifted also. Basically LZ I-IV is. After that they came into their own. I agree; just acknowledge it & no one would care.

Yeah; this is what I'm talking about. All I can think is J. Page played on so many other band's records as a session musician without receiving credit; he just felt it's my time.

OK; have to check it out. I have seen the intro was actually from an old rock band from the '60's who opened for the Yardbirds.

well...I've seen at least 6 documentaries on YT lately. Not borrowed actually "covered" these old bluesmen's song's and credited themselves on their first IV LP's. The reason I checked this out is because I saw so many comments on YT about all this.

Sad indeed; also read he was very ticked-off that FM excluded him from their induction into the R&R Hall of Fame. But then again; who cares? The Hall has lost all credibility with me anyway. Think Mick Fleetwood did mention him in their acceptance speech-not sure?
