It’s a beautiful morning
I noticed there are no young rascals songs . This 60s group was very popular with at least one song staying at #1 for many weeks. This song has a lot of nice chord turnarounds and chord passages that sound beautiful. They are in rapid sequence, so the song is not for beginners but great for intermed...

Re: March 2025 3-Minute Challenge - Final Week Posts
Sorry I missed the last week but I traveled to San Diego to see my daughter and did not take a guitar, as I needed to spend the week with the family. I did do finger exercises and some rhythm drills incognito (especially rasgueado practice) each day, but it did not really fit the rules of the 3 minu...

Re: Welcome To Recommend A Lesson
Here are some favorites of mine I am working on that have other online lessons and offer some great learning opportunities.. Since TG has the most comprehensive lessons, it would be great for many of us to see them here: Chicago: “Does Anybody really know what time it is?” Easy to sing along and gre...

Johnny Rivers
I am revisiting my roots at the moment and thought I would suggest some lessons on one of my favorite 60s guitar players, Johnny Rivers. Several of his biggest hits were 1-4-5 variations. Secret agent man is already on the site, but how about: Memphis, mountain of love and 7th Son? Many of his later...

Re: Welcome To Recommend A Lesson
Hi Neil, I have made this request before but I would love to see a lesson on the old Eagles tune “Witchy Woman” there are multiple on line videos teaching versions on how to fake it, but the eagles had multiple guitars going at one and it would be great to see you break them down. While it is predom...

More Today Than Yesterday
This would be a very easy lesson with some nice jazz chords. It was a great one hit wonder covered by several famous artists. Some call the genre Happy Pop Rock or something like that. It was a great “pick up you mood” tune. Has some hints of “ does anybody ever really know what time it is?”’ If you...
