Mellecamp has put out some great tunes over the last 30 yrs and let's not forget Johnny Rivers. I never hear his name metioned on here. One good guitar player.

Hello;

I seem to get great sounds out of my guitars and I use lite strings. But to each his own. I guess It depends on the sound your are looking for.

Very intresting topic. But yeah if I don't practice almost everyday, I seem to forget what my teacher shows me. With my work schedule, practice time is limited at best. I enjoy reading all of the posts on this forum. Very supportive group.
