Re: M.I.A.
<t>Hi all. This is so weird. I haven't been on the site for at least a year. I checked in and The Wrench was asking about me. Well, still alive. Been busy getting divorced and remarried and moving to Nashville. Recently my new wife and I have bought a home on Whidbey Island in the state of Washingto...

<t>Tony, i'm kinda "late for the sky" here-- been away awhile. I cannot give you any technical critique, as you are way beyond me; but let me just say I appreciate how far you have come and what seems like in such a short time. You give incouragement to us slackers. Keep at it. I agree with many oth...

Re:Daryl Hall and friends jamming
Dennis, thanks for the link. Sometime back a forum discussion was "Who is the best male singer?" My vote was Daryl Hall. Didn't get much feedback on that one, and I agree there are so many great singers; but for my money, this guy was/is special.

Re:What's going on with this forum?
<r>Dennis, good question. I note that Matt quotes stats that forum traffic has not slowed down, but, like you I subjectively felt it was ebbing a bit. Tony Tovo made some good points. My guess is that many of us have learned to use the walls and PM's more. I know I have so as to not show my a** to t...

Re:neverfoundthetime learning to play So Deep Within YOu acoustic guitar
<r>Chris, really good job. I honestly do not remember this song but then I don't remember a lot of songs from that era. <E>:)</E> I'll have to download it from iTunes (my LPs have been lost over time). Keep on brother, and yes, I think you are close to a "Best Of" compilation. Oh, man, the twelve st...

<t>Yes Swissy Chrissy! For all of you out there that don't know the inside story: Swissy sent me this months ago. His instructions were to be sure and watch all of it. I did. Including the credits, looking for some...uh...meaning...uh redeaming...merit...uh...etc. And, well.... you decide. (BTW: get...

Re:when will you never play or practice your guitar,,,
<r>I am not as disiplined as Tony or Pierre. I just play when the mood hits and don't when I don't feel like it. But, hey, I am retired and have no reason or motive to take on another job. <E>:)</E> As to the quality of my sessions, they come and go and I try not to stress over it. Just trying to en...
