As a start check out bass runs like in the key of G and C.
Fundamental bluegrass stuff. Go from G to C and from C back to G.
This should get you started. Internet is full of it.

Using Guitar Pro
Noticed your advertisements- Guitar Pro. I use it a bit. It would be nice to see some mini classes on using Guitar Pro for more than just listening to the songs on it. Like how to actually enter notes on a measure. Good site keep up the fresh material.
