Re:Metronome Software

Thanks for the links. I downloaded both of them (metronome plus and metronome mini) and tried them out. I like the interface of weird metronome better. It's simpler to use for me, and these days I need as much simple as I can get. :side:

Re:Metronome Software

<r>Hi Merlin,

Here's a free one that's actually quite good and customizable. When I'm playing guitar near my computer, I use it more than my "real" metronome.

Don't let the name throw you.

"Weird Metronome" --->
h...

Re:Tuners

That's a good question. I don't own a bass guitar. I wonder if it's different for an electric bass, where you could plug in an inline tuner, vs an acoustic or upright where you might use a tuner with a microphone or one that clips to the headstock or body.

Re:Tuners

It's not perfect, but it seems to work well enough for me. I use an Intelli IMT-500. YMMV, of course. :)

Re:Tuners

I've noticed that tuners often can't pick up the low E easily. What often works is to pick the harmonic (on the 12th fret) of the low E when tuning.

Re:Who Wants Free Access To The T.A.R.G.E.T Program?

<t>Well, I just sent in my 4th and final entry. I was sure my 3rd entry was perfect that I sent in a few days ago, but I obviously am not nearly as bright as I thought. Looking forward to the webinar, the correct answers, and the TARGET program, even if I'm not picked.

good luck to everyb...

Re:Who Wants Free Access To The T.A.R.G.E.T Program?

Just sent in my 3rd try - I completely missed hearing at least one tune the first 2 times! Oh well, the contest must be over by now, but I wanted the satisfaction of knowing (thinking anyway), that I may have finally sent in a correct entry.
