Re: Busking Jingle Bells

Thanks Neil and Daryl. Im playing a Big Baby Taylor that I bought used several years ago as a travel guitar to take to the first IGC. The acoustic on the wall is an Alvarez I bought in high school and usually keep in open tunings. The guitar behind my head is a Collins CL Deluxe, truly a pleasure to...

Re: Arthritis challenges

I have a couple of other thoughts to add. Jorma sells CDB products at the Fur Peace Ranch Company Store. They are offering some deals during the Saturday night Quarantine Concerts - BTW Jack drove from LA and they will be doing HotTuna the next two weeks! Another thing I have used is MELT. You order...

Re: Arthritis challenges

Hi Lynn, Another drug that has recently become available over the counter is Voltarin or Diclofenac 1% Gel. I've used it for years on an arthritic toe and also have been using it on my left lateral wrist and thumb to help with guitar aches and pains. It's a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory dr...

Very well done, Dean. Very clean and sounded great. I liked the mood lighting too!

Thanks for putting this up, Neil. And thanks for the nice comments. Great memories of camp and John Prine. I'm still indebted to Paulette for agreeing to play together. Funny how a year and a half later, I watch this and still break out into a nervous sweat!

RIP John Prine

<r>I'm so sorry to see that John Prine passed away today from complications of Covid 19. He was 73 years old and had recovered from a number of health issues over the years. His songs have both touched me and been a source of inspiration since the early "70s. I saw him in concert last December and a...

Absolutely, Bart!

As soon as they can open up Mom's retirement home in Phoenix, I'll be there and will let you know. I'm hoping that at the least, we should still be able to get to IGC in September, and look forward to seeing you then!

Stay healthy!

RIP Bill Withers, McCoy Tyner and Get Well John Prine

<t>It's been a tough month for a number of reasons. All of our lives have been affected in so many ways. I was sad to see Bill Withers passed the 30th at 81. McCoy Tyner, a great American jazz pianist died earlier this month at 81. Both musicians were close to my heart for many decades. Another favo...
