It is actually a Sigma Martin. Model DM-1 W. I will post a photo as soon as I get my camera back from my cousin who borrowed it!

Re: how to fix broken off bridge

<t>I brought it to the local luthier and he was so excited to see it! I let him "do it the right way". He dressed the frets, put on a new nut and fixed the broken bridge. He worked on it for 6 weeks. We had a summer of lots of humidity which is why he said it took so long. It looks like new and soun...

Re: how to fix broken off bridge

AH! Thanks for the videos..They totally scared me so therefore I am taking it to a local luthier. Everything else seems good on it..straight neck, (thank goodness), so I'll just spring for the repair. I only paid $130 which included the case full of cobwebs! :woohoo:

how to fix broken off bridge

<t>I just recently purchased (on ebay) a vintage Martin acoustic. When I received it, it was super dirty and dusty and the strings looked like they were 30 years old! So I got myself a restoration kit/cleaner and began the task of getting off someone else's gunk! That's when the bridge came off..it ...

iPad lessons

<t>Is there a reason why the lessons for ipads have stopped after Oct. 8th? I get excited when I get an email for a new lesson only to find out it isn't available as an iPad lesson. I can't even access the lesson notes on any songs on my iPad which would be the icing on the cake if that someday woul...

ipod lessons

<t>My internet doesn't work well on the laptop I use, but it's so convenient to have in my guitar playing space. Is there a way I can download the video or at least the audio of it on my ipod from my desktop computer, (is that what the ipod lessons are all about)?? Or put the video somewhere that do...

Re:middle aged and small fingers!!

<t>Thanks for the info. I did a little research and a Taylor seems the way to go if I can't get the more difficult chords down. I'm going to try stretching the back of my hand more and see how it goes and yes, pay more attention to Neils' hand position, he has great tips. Yeah, Capo songs are great!...
