Re: Do you stop to listen?

<t>I don't think it's in me to not stop and listen, and giving a few dollars for their songs is a definite yes. Street players are rare to fine where I live so I normally hear them while on vacation. While in Las Vegas last year they had some fantastic acoustic blues guitar players/singers in the st...

Re: Poll: Do you record yourself to gauge your progress?

I thought I had 'something' down pat and recorded myself to upload on TG. When I replayed it, boy did I realize it needed tons of work. Mainly my timing. Its funny what I hear versus what I really hear...

Re: >>New Target and Pay Per Lesson release - Your Song - Elton John

I usually check once, maybe twice a week to see if Neil has posted a new song. Some of the songs I get excited about and this is one one them. Thanks Neil for this early Easter Egg.

Pushing my luck:
Daniel and Rocket Man, maybe, hopefully?

Re: THUMBthing in that thong ...

Wow. the logical song is amazing. The best cover I've heard. I would love to have the tabs for that. It would probably take me a life time to get right but, but I would give it a shot.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Busking Nick Drake

<r>Jayswett, Ness's version is in the 'Busking 3 or 4 Chord Songs' thread. If you get a chance, check out this clip of 'all I want is you'. It had me all choked up, Bono is an awesome guy.<br/> <br/> <YOUTUBE id="uURKYk06Q7c"><URL url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uURKYk06Q7c&feature=related">...

Re: Busking Nick Drake

The guitar and tone of this clip sounded professional Ness. I became a fan of yours when I heard you play U2's 'All I want is you".

Very very nice.

Re: Busking Motown

Stuart, this is nicely done. I've been working on this song for a couple of months now, and I really like your version of it. You gave it a good clean-fun-folk sound. Adding in the harmonica gave it an additional punch, great job.

I'm glad you posted it and didn't hold back.

Re: Collaboration of Rainy Day People

"You,re going to Hollywood"!!! Even Simon Cawell would of have appreciated what you guys did. All kidding aside, that was fantastic. You captured the feel and mood of Rainey Day as it should be done. If we had a top 10 song listings from the folks of TG, this one should be in there.

Re: OPEN MIC IN THE BARN

This is really cool Buddy. I'm betting many folks from TG would love to have been there, I know I would have. I can't play worth a dang, but I do enjoy watching other musicians.
