Re: Any Questions For Today's Webcast?

<t>I remember seeing Muriel Anderson doing a technique where she fretted a chord (Am?) and then outlined the chord with the edge of her right hand (at the “nodal point”?) while strumming with her index finger. The effect was awesome. Would you (Neal) be able to show this? I believe I saw her do this...

The Wrecking Crew is on Netflix streaming

<r>Hey everyone,<br/> <br/> I just watched The Wrecking Crew on Netflix streaming. That’s the documentary on the group of L.A. session musicians that included Tommy Tedesco, Carol Kaye, Leon Russell, and Glen Campbell (to name just a few) who played on many popular songs of the 1960s. It’s enlighten...

Re: If you had to perform in public today, how many songs could you do?

<t>Hey Dennis,<br/> <br/> Out of the 44 songs in our set list for a party our band is playing at this weekend, I could probably only do about 21 without my notes in front of me. If I’d have to play it all note-for-note like the original recording and not make any mistakes, that number drops to zero....

Hey Jameela,

Got the email, did the process, and all is good. Thanks to you and Cory for the help. I'm liking the lessons.

Re: Introducing The Newest Addition to the TG Family - Totally Electric Guitars!

Help! I signed up for the founding member deal a couple of weeks ago, but have been unable to get to the lessons when I log in. All I can see are the lesson previews. Already contacted Support on the TEG site, but the solution that was emailed to me doesn't work.

Re: Anyone else ever use or try these?

<t>Hey Wiley,<br/> <br/> I don’t have experience with either of these specific models (guessing you are talking about the Bose L1 Compact for about $1k), but I do have a little bit of knowledge of playing out and about. Unless you’re going to be playing solo all the time, you may as well figure you’...

Re: Seen any good music movies lately?

<t>I just finished watching the documentary Alive Inside: A Story of Music and Memory. This had been sitting in my Netflix streaming queue for a quite while. I slected it because it dealt with music and it had a five out of five star rating. I wasn't sure I would like it. The description hit home wi...

Re: How many vinyl records do you own?

<t>No vinyl, but I have the gear to play it on.....in mothballs. Had it since I was a teenager. Can't seem to part with it. Maybe I'm thinking I'll have the time and money before I pass on to mess around with it again. Or, maybe it will show up on that Storage Wars TV show sometime. Actually, I'd ra...

Re: Dave Nachmanoff - Live from Flower Mound Texas

Good show, Wiley. Thanks for putting it on. Good recovery on the rough start. Thanks for hanging in there on the tech side. I like this type of venue and would like it to continue to grow.
