Re: Busking Kelly Joe Phelps
Well very nice Beaker, like Daryl said, nice fingerpicking and I guess a fun song to play!
Have to admit that I've never heard of the guy, will you post some more of him?
Thanks for sharing,

Re:The best acoustic guitar top is...

Re:Taylor 30th Anniversary Grand Concert
Thanks Bear... I'll be checking out Breedlove and Larrivee. Have heard of them, but never held a representative sample. I'm a nylon sring player (just like the sound better for my kinda music), so my search may not be easy...

Re:Taylor 30th Anniversary Grand Concert
<t>Thanks guys... I'm clear on the diffrences/names of the types of cutaways now, but have another question: does anyone know of another mid-to-high level guitar company that does the short scale (24.75" vs. 25.5") that Taylor does? I think I'd like to seriously look at a short scale to see if it ma...

<t>FJVDB - wish I could say I had a good resource, I had to pick it up by ear. The two-chord progression at the beginning is something I had to modify because I couldn't 'hear' how he was playing it, but it's close enough to pass muster for my wife. Hell, I don't even have the patience to learn to r...

<r>Not sure if this is a Venetian or a Florentine cutaway - I just know I don't like it. I think it's on all their NSx2 series guitars. The NSx4 series is better, but still odd-looking to me...<br/> <br/> <URL url="http://www.taylorguitars.com/Guitars/Acoustic-Electric/Nylon/NS32ce/"><LINK_TEXT text...
