Re: >>New Target and Pay Per Lesson release - Annan Water - Decemberists

Just started playing through this with your chord sheet and I'm afraid you have a minor error on it. The first line (riff on Am) should be played 4x in the verses, not 2x. Just FYI!

Thanks again! Love this song!

Re: Which Laptop would you recommend?

<t>I just got a Lenovo and am pretty happy with it. It does have Windows 8 on it, but if you don't like the tile-format it has a desktop option which will look just like what you're used to with Windows 7. That is what I primarily use. However I also have Windows 8 on my phone (a Nokia Lumia) and I ...

Re: Blues Scale

<r>Good! I'm glad I understood you! <E>:)</E> <br/> <br/> Yes, rhythm guitar in the blues is easy!! Mostly just 1,4,5. And, yes, you can add in a 7th of those chords (especially chords 4 and 5 if you like to make them sound even more bluesy. It's only when soloing that you have to know which notes a...

Re: Blues Scale

<t>Maybe I'm not understanding you, Dermot, but to my knowledge when you're playing a blues song, the chords are not altered in the way I think you are suggesting. For example, if I'm playing a standard blues progression in A, my chords would be just the typical I, IV, V chords: A,D and E. If I want...

That was beautiful, Dean! This is probably my favorite Stones song and I love the chord solo version of it. Really nice job on a very delicate song. I admire your style quite a lot!

Re: IGC Update #15

<r>Funny you should mention that, Scott!! Because when I was first watching the video I kept seeing a reflection of someone in the banner, and I thought, "Who the heck is that and what are they doing? Are they peering in the window?" Then Neil mentioned it was you and that Corina was back th...

Re: IGC Update #15

That was a lot of fun! Though next time you might want to tune your guitars before you start rolling :)

I really enjoyed watching this!!
