Re: Taylor V-class Bracing
<t>Hi Turtle, <br/> There are at least two of us on this forum that have one, me and Bart, aka familyman4. I’ll let Bart speak for himself, but I’ll tell you there is a huge difference between the x braced Taylor’s and the V Class models. Please refer to the forum discussion about guitar top voicing...

Hi Mike,
No, as far as I know Benny Goodman was straight. FYI, he was one of the greatest clarinet players of all time. Big band era.

Re: If It Makes You Happy
<t>Really nice work Mike. Your guitar playing is improving with each new post. I think your voice is great. FYI, here are the correct lyrics for the beginning of the song:<br/> <br/> I belong, a long way from here<br/> I put on a poncho and played for mosquitoes<br/> And drank 'till I was thirsty ag...

Vanessa,
Another great lesson and song from you. The play-through with Riley is great! I love learning the different ways of playing chords.
Thank you!
Lisa

You’re welcome M. Andy is someone special. I can personally attest to the intonation. I have never been able to tune a guitar to perfect pitch and had it sound right, until now!

Re: Guitar Top Voicing / Bourgeois (Dana) Guitar Explains
<t>Thanks Bart. Congratulations on the K14ce. That is an awesome guitar too. I went to Taylor’s road show with that guitar in mind. After comparing them both, I opted for the rosewood. I found the koa to be not as bass resonant for my ear. I was told the koa would open up over time, I’m sure it will...

Re: Guitar Top Voicing / Bourgeois (Dana) Guitar Explains
<r>Yes, this is an interesting video, however IMO all this this voicing theory has been totally eclipsed by Andy Powers at Taylor Guitars. Andy has/will make X braced guitars obsolete. I just purchased Taylor's V Class 914ce (the one Andy is playing in this video). It is the most incredible guitar I...

<t>This lesson is precisely why I am not renewing my TARGET membership. Neil, you spend 30 minutes "teaching" this "easy" song, most of which you spend talking instead of showing. Your version is not even close to how this song should sound. I learned this song from another teacher who really took t...

Can’t wait to hear/see what Neil has cooked up for a Huttlinger lesson.
