How do you tell the date of a guitar? I have an acoustic, and an electric and would like to know the dates.

Have a Yamaha FG-365S. I've had it since the early or mid 80's.
I also have a fender strat and Peavey amp. The strat is mexican made. I bought it used, and it sounds great.

The person who originally inspired me to play was John Denver. Loved the picking style.
Then I discovered Neil Young. I put my guitar away for about 15 years, and recently found Neil Hogan on youtube. So I would have to say This second go round was Neil Hogan.

Acoustic for me has to be James taylor. Electric is SRV. That guy gives me goosebumps.
