How do you tell the date of a guitar? I have an acoustic, and an electric and would like to know the dates.

Have a Yamaha FG-365S. I've had it since the early or mid 80's.
I also have a fender strat and Peavey amp. The strat is mexican made. I bought it used, and it sounds great.

The person who originally inspired me to play was John Denver. Loved the picking style.
