Re:Black Mountain Side by Marc, alternate tuning

Wow, that is good, really good. The only constructive criticism I can make is probably just the recording, but the faint parts were too faint. Was that the recording or the dynamics?

Otherwise I think you nailed it. Where is my tabla? I want to play along.

Re:Need help to find Long train running tabs from the Doobies

Check it out and see what you think.<br/> <br/> <URL url="http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/d/doobie_brothers/long_train_running_v...

<r>I think this is a very fun idea. If one came to Colorado, I'd go out of my way to attend.<br/> <br/> Some ideas (some of which you've already mentioned)<br/> -- Stream each one so other members can watch<br/> -- The live lesson -- even watching -- of real, interactive feedback would be great and ...

Re:Matter of Taste

<t>No doubt. Some of the most technically difficult music often to me isn't particularly melodic, soulful, catchy, or moving (all attributes I find attractive in music). I had a friend once who absolutely loved the Dixie Dregs because of the progressive and complicated nature of their music. I could...

Re:All over the road

<t>When I was a teenager and just learning I thought I could learn on my own--all my favorite guitarists did (I don't remember reading that Clapton, Hendrix, Richards, or any of the old blues guys ever took formal lessons). However, I did find myself getting frustrated that I wasn't progressing enou...
