Re: Is This a Valid Strategy for Camp?
<t>Dan,<br/> <br/> Much congratulations on your progress. Playing at camp, in front of a room full of guitarists, can be really daunting, so I have nothing but admiration that you've been working on overcoming the fear.<br/> <br/> I've been playing a lot of open mics lately, and I've found three thi...

Re: Busking Paul Simon American Tune
Wow, that was so beautifully played and sung, Bill. I had no idea there were about a thousand chord changes in the song. My only wish is that the guitar were a little louder so that I could hear everything you're doing.

Re: Busking Chicago - Colour My World
I've aways been really impressed by your playing, Craig, and you dazzled me with this one. It's a gorgeous tune, but I had no idea how difficult it might be to play until I saw those oddball chords you were fingering. Huge congratulations for unlocking this puzzle.

Re: Busking Simon & Garfunkel
<t>Craig: Thanks so much. You're one of those people I've missed since I stopped hanging around TG. By the way, you have a sharp eye for detail: yes, it's a new music room -- formerly a closet that Jamie let me convert into a man cave devoted to guitar porn. There are rock posters all over the walls...

Re: Busking Simon & Garfunkel
<t>Jason: The guitar is a Goodall grand concert, which I recently bought used from a Goodall collector. I'd been lusting for a Goodall for some time, but could never pull the trigger due to the cost. Buying used allowed me to get the guitar I wanted, in pristine condition, for half price. You asked ...

Busking Simon & Garfunkel
<r>I was flipping through TV channels recently and came across the movie Garden State, a film with a terrific soundtrack. One of those songs, surprisingly, was this one from Simon & Garfunkel. I think it's probably one of the easiest Paul Simon songs to play on the guitar, whether you want to ju...

Jeff,
Way to go, man! I loved all three songs. And all I can say after watching your videos is that you really got a hold on me.

Re: Busking Jethro Tull Aqualung Acoustic
Wow, Marc ... wow! I'm stunned that you're able to make those chord changes in tempo. That looks hugely challenging and I'm so impressed.
