Re:Nail Care

<r>At 4-5 mm of white, I could climb trees with mine... It's a stupid looking manicure, with just the 4 close cut nails on my left hand. But I don't care what strangers think about that. But if you have a problem growing strong nails, you might check out the "nail picks"? that Sungha uses. I don't k...

Re:Down and Out - first target video post

<r>Nice. This song always reminds me of my uncle who used to play it when I was a kid. Thanks for that. I'd be interested in the chord progression!<br/> <br/> You sound solid to me, and like your getting really into the feel of the song.<br/> <br/> I'll share what I do when I'm at the stage with a s...

Re:The last 10 Target only access songs added.....

<r>I'm working on I'm Yours, and have tinkered with the Leaving on Jet Plane, both arrangements. Another recent one I've been playing is I'll Follow You Into the Dark. <br/> <br/> Besides just really liking the song, I'm Yours is helping me tune up my barre chords, and helping me to learn the notes ...

Re:Pentatonic vs. Blues scale (Green River)

DBabs-

Thanks for the explanation. You are exactly right about everything, (at least as far as the post goes...;) ), and correct about the addition of the flatted fifth creating the blues scale.

Re:Hey Joe

Hey there, let's not jump to conclusions. I think I said something about considering some of his acoustic masterpieces...

Now if I can just find that Jimi Unplugged album that might be floating around here somewhere.

Re:Easy Strumming Lesson

If the trouble is the chord change (you have to think about the change and it's messing up your strumming) then practice the chord changes. Otherwise, I'd recommend a metronome to help you keep the up and down strum rhythm when changing chords.
