Re: Busking Jerry Reed

<t>Wow, John! You just keep pumpin' 'em out. I haven't heard this in years. Brought back some childhood memories. I agree with Cori that Jerry Reed is highly underrated. Thanks for sharing this.<br/> <br/> -Stuart<br/> <br/> p.s. I just logged in to listen to your White Shade of Pale again, so this ...

Just wanted to let you know that I listened to this about a dozen times today, played along a little bit once or twice, and really enjoyed it every single time. Thanks again.

Re: The International Guitar Camp in September now live...Check it out.

<t>Hi Matt,<br/> <br/> Yes, it makes sense to keep the conversation here on the site. But don't we still have internal TG Forum groups somehwere around here? Would you mind if we set up one of those for IGC participants. I sometimes find it hard to find a specific thread, especially if it's been idl...

Re: Procol Harum Whiter Shade of Pale by kelemenj

<t>Wow! That's terrific. I really enjoyed your take on this tune. It's one I've been hoping for some time to see a lesson on it. There's a really pretty finger-picking rendition floating around, but I've always found that version just a little bit too precious. Your technique here is really inspired...

Thanks Dennis. I appreciate that. Vanessa had also suggested I try a capo after listening to Wild World - as have a couple of others more recently. I'll give it a try.

Re: The International Guitar Camp in September now live...Check it out.

<t>I was thinking that it would be a good idea, as we get closer to the date, to start keeping a list of who is coming and maybe try to coordinate some travel plans. Although I'm in the UK now, I'll be moving to Berkeley this summer, so will be relatively local and would be happy to pick up some peo...

Re: >>New Target and Pay Per Lesson release - Powderfinger - Neil Young

<t>Hi Neil,<br/> So nice to see this lesson. It's one of my very favorites and one I took a stab at learning a couple of years ago. I especially appreciated the way you work through the alternate version in E. I'll have to try that. I wonder if you will say a word or two about the Cowboy Junkies' ve...

Re: Kimberly Acoustic

You might try to track down Bob Seidman in Ft Lauderdale, FL, who used to be the US distributor for Kimberly acoustic guitars, which were manufactured originally by Kawai in Hamamatsu, Japan (60s/70s) and later by Kimex in Seoul, Korea (90s).

Re: Cat Stevens Moonshadow by sws626

<r>That's thanks to Neil's excellent lesson. It would have taken a lot longer on my own. I was really surprised to see that no one else has yet uploaded a video of this song. I hope others have checked out the lesson and that we'll see some other interpretations before too long.<br/> -Stuart<br/> <b...
