Re: BUSKING BARTON HOLLOW

Bud- Quite possibly the best song you've ever posted and that's saying something. Even John Paul and Joy would be pleased with that one!

Well done! And I love your resonator too!!

Re: New Target Addition to From The Beginning - Corrections & Variations

Neil- one of my favorite Greg Lake tunes (amongst so many). I'd love to see it tabbed so I can practice it correctly.

Thanks for the update! I actually noted some differences watching these videos!!

Re: R.I.P. Pete Huttlinger

<t>Pete was one of the finest guitarists ever. He was a two time (or more) National Fingerstyle Guitar Champion and just struck me as a wonderful human being. I own many of his instructional materials.<br/> <br/> I was inspired by his re-learning the guitar after a major strike left him without the ...

Re: IGC Europe Anyone?

Where in Europe are you thinking? The Netherlands, the UK, a German speaking country? I'd be there in a heart beat if I could swing it. Like Wiley says it would have to be with Mrs. Bear which almost doubles the cost.

Re: Thumb picks: love 'em, hate 'em? What's your favourite?

<r>Shel- you don't have the good ones! The best I've found is a Zookie by Jim Dunlop. The reason they are best is because the tip is at an angle to your thumb meaning your attack is square to the string. I use 20 degree.<br/> <br/> Here's a link:<br/> <br/> <AMAZON id="B000EEHAB4"><URL url="http://w...

Re: Songs for 12 string guitar

<t>Hi Dan! Welcome from Portland, Oregon. I play a big Taylor 12 string and any of the folk songs on this site would be good choices. John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, Peter, Paul and Mary, Ralph McTell; all the old folk tunes sound fabulous.<br/> <br/> As others have suggested, Stairway, Wish You Were...
