Jim,
Great opening.
As a first step, can you give us some pointers on how to properly care for our voices?

Another question is: Is it possible to develop a singing voice from a voice that couldn't carry a tune in a bucket? Maybe once the tune could be carried, then I would think about caring for such a voice! :(

Welcome. Looking forward to working the guitar and singing issue. Been struggling here and I know others have as well. I believe Jim Bruno will be a great addition. Best wishes.
