If using this new feature, will it be a private message for the person that gets tagged @----- or will it show up as a message on the forum for all to read?

I guess I am also asking if it is meant to replace our former email system on the old site?

Hi @familyman4, it's only used to post on the forum, similar to how Facebook tagging works, the person will get a notice that they have been mentioned in the thread
