Feedback from the last song I submitted entailed memorizing the entire piece instead of gazing at my sheet music and try to strum softer as if a baby were sleeping in the other room. I hope I'm improving. Please let me know what you think, good or bad.

Hey Mike! I thought that was much better - without you constantly reading the chart. Not only is it liberating to do away with the chart and stand, but by doing so it makes the player focus on their playing and the lyrics thereby allowing more emotion to come through in both the playing and singing. How do you feel about not using a chart?

So what are you working on next? The only problem of not using a chart is that you now have to remember the chord progressions and all the lyrics to all the songs in your repertoire.

I can't thank everyone enough for the kind praise and feedback. I really enjoyed recording this one; it's much more fun than gazing into sheet music. There is only one little problem, I forgot to tune my guitar.

I wasn't going to mention that. ;-) Do you have a clip on tuner? If not, they are definitely worth having.....

Mike,

Sorry I'm so late to this. It's great to watch your progress right before our eyes! Everything is getting smoother and more confident. Keep up the great work. I sure wish I could sing like you.

Craig

Definitely improving Mike, not sure what kind of pick you are using but might be an idea to go a little lighter, worth a look at anyway. Your vocals are great! Posting videos is really helping you.
Well done!

Tom N.
