Thanks so much for checking in guys, Cori and Dermot! This is certainly not a forum for only IGC-attendees, this is a TG-thing and although not everybody is able to actually be there, it's still much fun to share this amazing event. I sure hope we will have some cool vids to post of 'behind the scenes' or the 'open mic'.! ;)

And Cori, gosh I'd be SO dang jealous too!! Really wish you could've made it :( Today, I bumped into our CSN-shirt, GREAT memories!!! :cheer:

Definitely NOT an IGC only forum.
We are hoping we can share as much as we can with everyone who will be there "in spirit".
I'm hoping Neil will let us all give you all a shout out on the Friday TG update.
Hey, how 'bout it, Neil?

I have no idea what we will be doing Friday AM but anything is possible, depending on editing time. By the way, if anybody has tried to email me lately I have not got them. Laptop just bit the dust Saturday and I am cut off from civilization until it is repaired or replaced. Just like I need another project...

Looking forward to next week (and nervous too!).

Neil

Hi Ness,
yes I am fine thanks. It was all a bit hectic fir a while. I didn't expect to be kept in, never mind operated on. :)

I am in a hotel Tuesday night, Wednesday night, I figured I would maybe sleep a bit and explore a little, sort of chill out before the event.

I have two days at the end as well. I am going to Muriels's concert with some other TG'ers and not sure what else I will be doing, but will see what is going on when I get there. :)

I know for sure that you TGers will have a memorable experience at IGC ... it's sure understandable to feel a bit "wired".

Sometimes that feeling can be a cause for having funny dreams as the event approaches ...

So I wonder if anybody might have woken up kinda startled, after dreaming of sitting in the airplane on your way to IGC,
and suddenly thinking "Hmmm ... my guitar case was part of my luggage, of course, but ...
I can't remember if I put my guitar in the case !!! " :woohoo: :silly:

Enjoy !

Nope, no dreams as the such, not like that anyways.

I have taken out all three bags this morning, double checked the type of plane I'm on (737-800) and the bag allowances (sizes and such) and measured the bags.

I bought a new case, one of those big, military grade, mold injected things. My biggest fear, since it doesn't exactly 'fit' the normal 'checked bag' sizes, will be getting there and then a clerk saying "Sorry Sir, that will be an additional $200 for an oversize bag, both ways. Will that be cash or Credit Card"??

Of course, I've traveled plenty with a hardshell case, an injected one, but one of those that looks like a guitar. This thing is more rectangle shaped, like a rifle case more or less (which I've flown with also). Never had a problem, but yet.........
