Everyone, thanks so much for all the kind words! And, to anyone who watched the whole thing, thanks for sitting through 6 minutes of "ums" and "ahs" to get to the play-out - now you know why I don't speak much during my videos

Chan - yes, "Descartes in Amsterdam" was one of the songs Dave did at the Felton concert. If I remember correctly, it was while introducing this song that he talked about his past life as a philosophy professor, before deciding to become a "troubadour" full-time.

What a great video Jeff!

And I'm with Lynn, thanks for reminding me of Dave R. Really liked his set and hearing your rendition of one of his songs!

And thank yóu for opening the open mic-show, that was very cool (I take it your wife forgave you right??! :P ;) ), what a great evening that was! :cheer:

Hi Jeff

Thanks for showing your guitars and talking about the IGC

I like that song and you played (Descartes In Amsterdam") and sang it so well .......motivation for me to keep at it !
I'll need to get some of his music

You look quite at home with the guitar, do you play any other instruments?

Maybe you'll post more videos?

Dermot

:)

Here's a great video of Dave with Al Stewart ..... It must have been great to see them at the IGC.
