IGC 2014 Day 1 Report

TG started our International Guitar Camp in 2013 and now are hosting two each year, our Spring Camp at the end of April and our Fall Camp in early September.

Thanks for the kind words all, but you really need to see the open mic videos when they come out - everyone did such a great job. You'll be blown away at how people transformed in front of our eyes from Wed thru Sat! Keeping with the buzz term for this year's camp, "demystified"; I'd call it a "magical demystery tour"!

bob got the description right: magical and demystifying...hope I remember 50%.

best part was the people. supportive. understanding, encouraging. not a single person there with an agenda other than to play guitar better. and a bevy of folks to make that happen. didn't matter how many clams we hit on open mic's (and we all hit them)...the friendship and support was palpable, and demonstrated in spades, even to the level of folks getting up out of chairs to congratulate others.

did we mention Rebecca's beautiful hula?

bob: great seeing you one last time @ sfo. enjoy the autumn.

bob: great vids of you and dave...obviously very accomplished (must be that standup history)
