OK, It's Go-Time

TG started our International Guitar Camp in 2013 and now are hosting two each year, our Spring Camp at the end of April and our Fall Camp in early September.

Bassman Jerry, Drummer Kim, and I do this one a little different. Specifically, we play section J a bit faster, and we release the penguins later. Otherwise, we play everything else as written......................

Kidding! Have fun at camp everyone!

Ah, now I see it. The next to last measure, you know the one in 1/66th time, clearly shows the Lakers in 6 while the 2nd measure is played "Rigatoni". Now all I have to do is get the harpist to sit and the arrangement will sound as written.

Good stuff Jason, thanks for making my day a little brighter!

Dunno where else to do this and this thread seems appropriate so I'd like to take a moment to wish all of the lucky attendees of the inaugural IGC get together the best time they could possibly have. I’m so happy to see this coming together. I have no doubt you will have a blast from beginning to end. Just having so many TG friends meeting face to face is a big deal as it is but with the agenda Neil, Matt and everyone else responsible has planned for you it will clearly be an event you’ll remember for the rest of your days. I only wish time and circumstances have prevented me from attending. There’s always next year!

Have an enormous amount of fun and please grab all the pictures, videos, notes and stories that time will allow to share with the rest of us. We WILL be watching :-)

Hydro: I demand video clips of the Penguins! Thanks for the well wishes.. :)

Ken: Last I heard, playing "Rigatoni" was outlawed in 13 states.... Ever since the Guido incident at Mama Leoni's place, it has incited old blood rivalries..... :woohoo:

I have my cameras (still and video) ready to go. Wish you guys were coming!

Neil's gonna play leads over it, Doug Young's gonna play it in DADGAD, Muriel's gonna play it on a harp guitar, Alex will create new fingerings in an alternate tuning, and Al's gonna sing some new lyrics to it.

I'm off to pack a bag now. See you guys soon.
