How great to hear from you guys! I of course understand áll the mixed emotions, it ís quite something what is about to happen. And actually, for me it's the first time to attend such an event as well, so in some ways I have nó idea how things will be. Other than that, just CAN'T WAIT, we'll have a blast no matter what!! :woohoo: ;)

And indeed, like Bear says, just meeting all of you is the major draw for me, to just hang out and jam and whatever! :)

Shel and Willem, thanks so much for joining in and being happy for us, I know I would find it very hard if I wasn't going as well. I'd be só dead envious. How I wish that you could be there as well!! :cheer: :(

Great idea, Ness!
I'm packing my sharpie right now! Plus, you've given me an idea to work to work on over the next few days.
I'm going to make something for everyone to sign, too.

Excited, stoked, all of the above. I actually fly back to San Fransisco on Oct. 9th with the wife, plan on driving down to see Neil hopefully for a lesson.
I made my mind up a while back to be 'excited' and not nervous, this ain't no competition and there are no 'opponents'. Only nerve wracking thing is getting the guitar (bringing the Tacoma) there and back.
I'm jealous of that banner Ness - wow - what an ideal! I need to figure out exactly which bag I am bringing, since the 'studio' is all cedar I plan on bringing a couple pieces of cedar plank and having everyone sign, then hanging them in the studio along with some pictures.

Ness also asked how we're doing....

Well, I'm pretty excited, but also nervous about travelling with my guitar.
I did a test run back in May, on Jetblue. They were very nice and let me Gate-Check the guitar, so it went it with the strollers right at the gate.
My worry is that anyone could just take it when we deplane.
So I am spray painting flourescent pink stars on the case, so it is pretty easy to spot...and hey, who would want to carry a case that looks like that?
I'm hoping this will deter opportunists out there.
So, this all just proves that my anxiety level is ramping up. I'll be fine once the guitar is back in my hands.

Hey Ness,
cool idea with the poster. :)

I am flying out on Tuesday morning with my folding guitar. Hopefully I can take it as hand luggage. :cheer:

I am probably a little excited now, but for me the excitement will be when we all meet up. :)

I think I am just bringing my Alex De Grassi book for signing, unless I can conjour something else up.

Very much looking forward to this whole experience. I went into hospital on Tuesday night and had an operation on Wednesday morning,
so I am happy to still be going at all. :) The timing was lucky, as this was an unplanned hospital visit, but all worked out well
in the end. :)

See you all there soon.
