Hey everyone ... thanks for the kudos.
Yup, camp was fun and I hope to be able to do it again.

BTW, I went to see Al Stewart and Dave Nachmanoff again last night.
What a blast. They played lots of different stuff from when we saw them at Camp.
I highly recommend that you go see them if you get the chance.
You won't be able to take your eyes off Dave's flying fingers!

Tom V,
Very nice playing on Vincent, for as difficult a song as it appears to be, I was especially impressed with the way you were able to continue on and not let the song fall apart, which I often do at the slightest mistake by my guitar.

I liked many of your comments on how the IGC could improve. Some of your comments maybe should fall more on the shoulders of the participants in preparing their own breakout sessions in scheduled time slots. Where students within similar styles, or even desires of what to learn, could plan their own playlists, open mics, or scrums within a smaller group during this predefined time.

Any way, enjoyed meeting you at the IGC, and hearing you play Vincent. Hope to see you again next year.

Good review, Tom. Wish I could have been along for the ride.

Great job Tom on a difficult but very beautiful song.

You have some great suggestions for the next camp. It was great meeting you there and when you started talking on your video about the beautiful
woods and mountains it brought it all back to me quite vividly.

The concerts were great and I thoroughly agree about the brilliance of Dave Nackmanoff, a real bonus find from the camp.

Here he is in action again:-

Hi Tom

Glad we're still getting some reports on IGC. Thanks for putting it together. I really enjoyed your performance of Classical Gas at camp and this was a great job on Muriel's version of Vincent. Nice job on the harmonics. You are an accomplished guitarist working on some difficult pieces. I know the frustration when you work hard on a piece and then miss a note or 2 while performing. The key, I think, is to just keep on playing as if you meant to play that note and continue right through the song. Easier said than done, but worth working on.

I enjoyed meeting you and hearing you play at camp, and hope to see you again.

Tom.
What a thorough and interesting report from IGC. You sure sound like you had a lot of fun! Your musical performance was great despite the flubs.... no worry. I am sure you nail it when the camera is not rolling. Thanks.

Hi Tom,
wow, its been a month since I've been able to log on...glad I caught your report and awesome version of Vincent! I really liked your suggestion on a session with Neil and I think playing late into the night after open mike was one of my highlights as well. Thanks for the inspiration. Chan
