Is This a Valid Strategy for Camp?

TG started our International Guitar Camp in 2013 and now are hosting two each year, our Spring Camp at the end of April and our Fall Camp in early September.

Neil can testify,
as for myself, the wife and I have done several "Winery Tours" in the area - some of the best reds around are from the area we will be in.

Wine? Do I hear wine? Lol
Wiley.... I fully agree....
Do hope to do a winery tour again this year (at camp and after! :-) )

ps Let us do settle for "the house of the rising sun"

I'm really looking forward to it.

A thread on what to pack.?? I'm packing -
1 x guitar
2 x capo
6 x picks
3 x new sets of strings
1 x toothbrush/toothpaste
4 x clean smalls
6 x bottles of red wine

Am i missing anything?? Is that enough wine???

Sleep. Better get ahead on sleep. You're not getting much at camp.

Tuner. Doug Young will be there. That means you need a tuner.

Something. You need something because Dave Nachmanoff will be there. I have no clue what that something is, but I am forever changed since making his acquaintance.

Something else. I don't know what that something else is, but you need it for your fingertips, which will be shredded meat by 4 AM Thursday.

Six bottles of wine is good. You'll be able to trade some of them for tequila. By the way, I don't drink. Except at camp. Liquid fun.

I am sure your cell phone has a camera, so you should be covered there.

The last two years we have actually gotten some light rain. I am not sure how our new location is going to be laid out, as far as sessions, dining hall, rooms, etc., but an extra pair of shoes would not be a bad idea. If we have to walk any distance to the various locations you might get a little wet. My shoes got a little soaked last year, and having some flip flops was really nice.

The temp is pretty mild. Shorts and T-shirts has been good so far. Depends on where you are coming from, and what you are used to.

I am sure Neil will talk more about it in the weekly wrap ups as it gets closer. There is usually a thread with a list of things as well.

Guitar stand - I have one of the Hercules folding/traveler type that is great.
Oh yes, music stand. Good catch Wiley. And a very light portable music stand. Doug is very generous with some very useful handouts.

Some Sharpies and some books/souvenirs to sign and be signed.

Nail clippers.

OK, back to practicing the harder stuff now.
