A few pieces of News about the IGC this week. The camp starts Thursday, September 19 and runs through Sunday morning, September 22. We still have a couple spots left on site if anybody wants to jump in. Also confirmed that Richard Hoover of The Santa Cruz Guitar Company will do a presentation for us on things to look for in a custom guitar or if you are thinking of having one built. I also talked about coming up with songs that the community might like to play, and coordinating transportation. Right now the tentative schedule includes Alex de Grassi Friday afternoon, Muriel Anderson Saturday morning, Al Stewart Saturday afternoon, Richard Hoover later that afternoon, and the Open Mic Night Saturday evening. Everybody will be going to the Al Stewart concert in Felton Friday evening as well.

I saw the update just minutes after registering for off-site! However it looks like the registration page still needs to be updated to open the on-site registrations back up, or ideally to allow for an offsite to onsite upgrade.

Thanks for arranging the SC Guitar tour, Neil.
I would like to go, but if you have too many attendees, I'll step aside since I've been lucky enough to be around Lutherie in the past.

Definitely count me in on the Santa Cruz tour. A couple more people have checked "yes" for the tour in my survey herehere. We can take this into account when figuring out the carpooling since the tour people would probably want to carpool together and head straight to the tour before heading over to the Quaker Center.

Neil:

If there are any spots left for the SCG Tour, I would enjoy that. I am driving up from Southern Ca, but leaving early. I should be in town about 10 or 11am if all goes well.

I have a pickup that will hold 4 adults (probably not the most comfortable, but it is doable.
