TG started our International Guitar Camp in 2013 and now are hosting two each year, our Spring Camp at the end of April and our Fall Camp in early September.

Lynn took the words right out of my mouth, I am ABSOLUTELY still (or actually starting right now ;) ) lobbying for participants for the open mic at IGC! :cheer:

It is sceduled for saturday evening, but hey there won't be an open mic if no one's planning on performing then right?! And I have to say, if it's up to me then really, éveryone should participate (no pressure :P ).

It's been said before, if you haven't ever played in front of people, then THIS is THE chance to do so!!! There will be no more supportive audience then at IGC!

And yes, I know, playing in front of people can be a nerve wrecking thing :S  , but soooooooooo fullfilling once done. There is nothing like it, such a thrill and boost!! :woohoo: So yeah, this thread is meant to encourage éverybody to start planning and practicing something that they want to share with us on stage.

If you need help or assistance, as in playing along or singing along, or whatever, let me know, I'll be very happy to be at your service in any way I can! B)

Hi Ness,
I am sure you will get a lot of people volunteering for this. :)

I have never stood up in front of anyone live and sang and played guitar, hell, I've never even done Karaoke before, but this is actually one of the things I am looking forward to most at the IGC. I have been practicing a five verse song to perform, so I am your first volunteer. :) (Maybe I have lost my marbles?)   Who Knows? :side:

Looking forward to it! :)

What, only 5 verses Tom? Why not the extended version of American Pie? :-).

Good luck, it will be a blast!

Willem, as far as I know there is a video crewe working on site, otherwise someone will have a camera I'm sure, but if not I will record the song.
I think as far as I understand it, that the lessons won't be shot on video, but I could have picked that up wrong.

Tom:

I believe you are correct about the lessons being shot by the crew. Matt said something about that in one of the first few question threads. Free time and informal jamming sessions are free to be recorded by us attendees though, as far as I know. Should make for some interesting tidbits... ;)
