The latest on our International Guitar Camp is that we have made additional space available in the Casa de Luz, which may be one of our workshop rooms but we can probably sleep 5-6 there if anybody is thinking about last minute plans. We also realized we have 4 women coming which means there is room for 2 more as we will set aside 2 rooms for the girls.
Don't forget we have Alex de Grassi, Muriel Anderson, and Al Stewart doing workshops for all guests, as well as additional teacher Steve Palazzo and Doug Young. Steve will be doing a class on flatpicking and Doug will be going into DADGAD Tuning. Richard Hoover from The Santa Cruz Guitar Company will be talking about things to consider if you are thinking of having a guitar built. Of course everybody is welcome to the Al Stewart concert down the road in Felton on Friday night. He will be backed by his long-time accompanist Dave Nachmanoff, along with yours truly on a few tunes.
The rest of this update went through some of the schedule as it is starting to take better, or more focused shape. Check in will be at 5:00 on Thursday and hopefully everybody will be ready for a short orientation around 6:00 or so, then to dinner and the evening gathering.
