So, who was playing hooker in the guitar scrum? (not a naughty word at all in the world of Rugby)

Chris, I don't know who the "hooker" was, but there was one 10" tablet on Petes lap that I couldn't see at all. I had to watch someone elses hands. If they screwed up, so did I. But it was so loud, nobody could hear it anyway :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:So, who was playing hooker in the guitar scrum? (not a naughty word at all in the world of Rugby)

Hooker is one of the positions in rugby league football. Usually wearing jersey number 9, the hooker is one of the team's forwards. During scrums the hooker plays in the front row, and the position's name comes from their role of 'hooking' or 'raking' the ball back with the foot.[1] For this reason the hooker is sometimes referred to as the rake.[2]
Hookers have a great deal of contact with the ball, as they usually play the role of acting halfback or dummy half, picking the ball up from the play-the-ball that follows a tackle.[3] Hookers therefore have a lot of responsibility in that they then decide what to do with the ball,[4] whether that be to pass it (and to whom), run with it, or occasionally to kick it. Therefore, together with the two half backs and fullback, hooker is one of the four key positions that make up what is sometimes called a team's 'spine'.[5] The playmaking role of the hooker is similar to the halfback positions, and many players have switched between these positions in their careers.
The laws of rugby league state that the hooker is to be numbered 9.[6] However, in some leagues, such as Europe's Super League, players can wear jersey numbers which do not have to conform to this system.
One book published in 1996 stated that in senior rugby league, the hooker and stand-off half (five-eighth) handled the ball more often than any other position.[7] In the 2013 NRL season the top six players with the most tackles were all hookers.[
For the scrums in the video, number 9 would be split between Jeff for keeping an identifiable driving rhythm going and John for the great vocals!
I had to google it and wikipedia says:So, who was playing hooker in the guitar scrum? (not a naughty word at all in the world of Rugby)

Willem,
You may be right, but if Eric Clapton was there, it couldn't have been anymore fun!
I'd be happier if you and some of our other forum regulars had been there (Clapton would have scared us, I think).
I'm glad more videos are being put up...we really want to share as much of the camp as possible.
