likewise...it's good to see familiar names on the list: for those on the fence, it's really, really good! very low key, lots of learning and growing

Hey IGC peeps,

I look forward to seeing you all again. I'm driving up from the OC, so if I can help anyone in some way (bring something ... supplies ... ???), please feel free ask. I'm a horrible forum user, so contact me via my email - [email protected]

Looking forward to seeing all of you again.

Question- last IGC there was a great concert on Sunday night in town. Is that a possibility again or was that concert a unique, one-time, event? If there is no concert, those of us not from CA could catch a plane on Sunday to return home.

Tickets are cheap now so if we knew what to expect we could save some money.

Thanks anyone with an answer!!

Cheers! :cheer:

I am thinking about going but I will need to fly.
Two things. Should I come in on tuesday night or sometime Wednesday? Leave on Monday A.M?

I have never flown with my guitar. It makes me very nervous

Thanks for suggestions.

Hi Bill,

No big reason to fly Tuesday as we are really not checking in until late Wednesday, maybe 5:00, followed by dinner and an informal welcome reception/open mic that night. Last year many people left early Sunday, some late Sunday, and a few on Monday. That kind of depends on your work schedule. We will probably put together some suggestions for anybody still around on Sunday night, last year there was a Muriel Anderson show, but it will be loose and flexible.

San Jose is the best place to fly, particularly as far as arranging rides to The Quaker Center, about 45 minutes away. I'm sure Jason and a few others who are driving will come up with some suggestions.

Bill:

I just responded to you question in the other thread as well....

If you come in on Tuesday and leave on Sunday, I can help you out (if you come in via San Jose). The camp ended on Sunday last year and we just had an informal "goodbye" session before vacating the Quaker Center around noon. A few of the people had to catch flights at various times, so there were people leaving at all times. I believe Rick is planning on leaving on Sunday at about 11:00 am or so. We will be leaving fairly early to get him dropped off and get me on my way back down south. Depending on your flight time, and your willingness to sit in the airport for a while, I could drop you off at the same time.

J
