Sunday morning, September 21, 2014.
Most people were gone by about 11:00 and some of the group was hanging around outside the Orchard Lodge playing and singing. Corina and I had played this the night before at Open Mic 4 and somebody asked us to do it again. The song is very special to Corina as it was a song she sang with her father many times before he passed away about 10 years ago. It is hard to play this type of thing and keep the eyes dry, particularly when you know how special it is to the singer.

WOW!!!!!
Just loved it. What more could one want. GREAT guitar playing, GREAT singing, and what a back ground for both.

BRAVO!!!! Wish I was there.

Scott:

Corrina actually brought me to tears with this tune during another performance. What a voice! Neil's playing was soft and smooth which really made for an emotional duet. Amazing....

Always good having a song for memory and sing it with experience.

Goosebumps ....

I knew after reading the intro that this would make me all teary.

Corina you have an amazing gift of a voice and you use it beautifully. I'm so sorry for your loss.

...

Thanks for sharing.

Michele

Edit - this song is still going around and around my head hours after I listened to it. That's a sign of a powerful performance. It really touched me.
