Camp Transportation

This is the place for the details on our camps. The fifth annual one will run August 21 - 25, 2017 at the Asilomar Conference Center on the Monterey Peninsula.

Although it looks like lots of people are arriving early to make the Barbecue, some of us barbecue deprived guitarists are arriving on Wednesday. It would be nice if we could connect the dots of those with transportation and those without to make the the trip to and from the various airports and camp. I'll start with my flight schedule. Anyone interested jump in and we can try and coordinate rides.

I am arriving in San Jose on Southwest at 2:20 Wednesday. Leaving Sunday at 1:20.

Thanks,

Ron Binding

Bob Ring and I are flying into San Fran Airport 2 PM or so on Wednesday, and will be driving down together. He and I are coming from the East coast on separate flights. I don't recall exact times off the top of my head. Returning to San Fran mid afternoon on Sunday.

As I write this, I realize that there a couple of things that I should ask:

1) What is the name of the place that IGC is to be held, and what is the address? I am sure that information somewhere on the forum and I will have a look.

2) Will there be internet access?

Looking forward to meeting every one. I never got around to doing a video.

Thanks, Wiley. I see Uber is available too - but I don't know what the charge would be.

Ron:

I sent you an email with my cell number. I am sure I will have time to kill on Wednesday before we can check in. I would be glad to pick you up. I'll only have my pickup this year, instead of the suburban, but there should be plenty of room for you and your guitar.... ;)

Hi Jay

I'd be interested in joining you for the return leg back to SFO on Sunday afternoon if you have space. Arriving with the TZZ maestro and BBQ so I don't need a lift before hand. But he's going on to Denver so I need to make arrangements to get back to SF. Timing is not important, as I have a bed in SF for the Sunday night.

We're in half moon bay at the moment, so internet is a bit limited. See you at camp.

Cheers

Andy

Hi all.....

I'll be arriving at San Jose airport at 4:04 pm Weds., and will be renting a car. If any campers need a ride from SJC to camp, I'll have room for a couple.
I'll be flying out of SJC at 10:20 am on Sunday, will also have room for a couple others on the way back.

See you Wednesday

Jeff

Any reason to bring an acoustic/electric to IGC, rather than just acoustic? I am thinking of the Open Mics.
