IGC 2015 Saturday Night - Woodstock with Vanessa & Dave, then Kindred Spirits

TG started our International Guitar Camp in 2013 and now are hosting two each year, our Spring Camp at the end of April and our Fall Camp in early September.

The IGC 2015 Saturday teacher's opening set concluded with Vanessa and Dave running through a rocking version of Woodstock, more like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's version from Deja Vu than Joni Mitchell's original. Dave then took the stage and played his song, Kindred Spirits, after telling a story about his meeting Elizabeth Cotten. The staff would be back later, after the students had a chance to play their collaborations, and close the night and 2015 IGC.

Rock'n the house! I loved the performance, it was a lot of fun to watch so I can only imagine how much fun Ness & Dave had on that stage....

Many thanks Jean, very happy you liked it! :cheer: I SO hope you can make it to camp next year, either in CA or Europe. Any idea if it could happen for you?

Gee, Vanessa, I was hoping, but I'm not sure. Europe would be fun, but since we already have plans to be in Italy earlier in the summer, I don't see how I could make it back there. Also California is very close to when I have to be back at work, so I don't think so. I don't know when I could make this work. :(

Thanks Dermot, glad you liked it, I sure LOVED to play it! :woohoo:
