Hey guys and gals!

Since Bill was looking for some information (in another thread) about traveling from SF Airport to Los Gatos and back, I thought I'd, once again, open a thread in which we can all maybe organize one thing or the other, in particular the 'getting to camp' and 'back to the airport'-details.

Some fly into SF and others SJ, some rent a car and others would love a ride along.

I know it's still over six months away, but feel free to post your flight-details in here in order to hook up with anyone close to your arrangements. (If you want to pm each other, that's of course cool too.) I know several attendees are already planning their trips. I know í am! :cheer:

I used the Wingz service last year at Wiley's suggestion. I was very happy - even got a discount as a first time user. The driver was also an Uber driver, but Uber wasn't allowed to pick up at the San Jose airport at that time. It may have changed since then. I have also been able to arrange rides to and from the airport with other campers. Thanks for starting this thread, Ness!

Thanks for chiming in here guys! I'm sure that everything will work out and we can get everyone to camp and back to the airport.

I'm coming in either Saturday the 27th, or maybe Friday to SJC (San Jose). For those who are arriving early, I will have a rental and we can get you to TG Central, then to camp. Also, I and several others have a room at a hotel in Campbell, "The Bristol", a few miles away and most likely the lowest priced 'good' hotel in that immediate area.

For those coming in to SJC - the 'Wingz' service (like Uber) is somewhere around $35 +/-
So Wiley, let me make sure I understand. If I fly in on Sunday, I'll need a hotel room for Sunday night because our rooms won't be available at the convention center until Monday. Is that correct?

Yes, Jean, you got it right. It'll be worthwhile though, it's much fun to have the BBQ at TG-Central, the night before (Sunday). Big eating and jamming party! The meat is just from another world, it was thát good! :cheer: And everybody playing and jamming afterwards already sets a good and relaxed stage for the coming days at camp. So if you could make it then already, that'd be awesome. :)

Vanessa,

My flights are already arranged. I'll be landing in San Jose at about noon on Sunday, so I'll be able to make the BBQ. So I'll need to make hotel arrangements for Sunday night. Anyone have any suggestions?

Great!!

I think Wiley did an suggestion regarding a hotel. You might also want to check with Michele, who will be there already as well.

Wiley,

Count on my RSVP for the BBQ, because I'm flying in on Sunday.
