Hi Gang,
Just a heads up that an email with a bunch of information just went out to all IGCers (probably even 2 by mistake!). It included stuff like the schedule, class details, BBQ, TG Logo shirts, and new stuff on the Google doc. Let me know if anybody registered for IGC did not get the message.
Thanks,
Neil

Man-up you guys !! Mid-50s counts as a heatwave to us BritsTwo weeks now. One thing that may be helpful to those who live in areas where late August and early September are usually warm. Most have found the need for a light sweater/jacket during the evening and late hours. Gets like mid-50ish (Farenheit) during the darker times of the day.

That temperature 55oF (12oC) is bloody freezing for here. That's our winter! Now I know I need to pack thermals too! :woohoo:wiley wrote:Man-up you guys !! Very wise PBs.
Of course it could be just a story.
We used to have polar bears at Sydney's zoo, Taronga. I heard a story that the zoo once tried to improve their enclosure by making the pool a cold water pool. Apparently the PBs didn't approve and showed their distaste by staying out of it. I guess they decided that Sydney weather was a OK by them. No need to get chilly if you've got a choice.don't forget to watch out for those polar bears too shel....

I'm surprised David that you haven't reminded me what the word 'freezing' actually means. ;p As I recall, you cold-country livin' folks have this strange idea that it's actually linked to a scientific measure.don't forget to watch out for those polar bears too shel....

Ah Shel, i wouldn't want to be called a pedant (that was last week).
I realise that in Sydney 'freezing'' is a relative term meaning 'marginally less warm than the most recent heatwave'.
