Hi Gang,

Just on the heels of wrapping up IGC 2016, I want to give a heads up on next year. Once again we will be at The Presentation Center in Los Gatos, August 21-25, 2017, which is a Monday through Friday. There are a few updates at the IGC site: IGC 2017

And there is a $100 discount available to full Target members, which can be found in the Target Forum.

Please think about joining in on the fun!

Neil

Ok fellow IGC 2017 campers, get yer ear-plugs cuz I've signed up for IGC 2017!

I've been working on a few songs that I hope to be well versed at by the time camp comes and be able to participate in the evenings too.

Dennis :)

Great to hear Dennis! If I get back over to southern California between now and then, I will look you up and maybe we can play a few of those songs together!!! That would be fun.

Okay, so as a total n00b to this: what do attendees do for lodging during this camp?

Lodging and food are included in the cost of the camp. It takes place in a beautiful setting with cabins (generally shared rooms) and you can walk to the dining hall and classrooms. It is really a wonderful experience for guitarists of all levels.

Too funny, Dennis! We had such a great time and I didn't need any earplugs. Why should this year be any different? With all that relaxing that Ness had you do, I'm sure you'll be a star!

Nice! And this is an unplugged environment? No cables and amps need apply? :silly:

(I'm noticing that my other question is covered by the web site information, I just didn't read far enough. Oops.)

The environment is partly unplugged. There will be a P.A. system (includings cable and mics) in the hall where we have our meals and one in another for the Open Mic's in the evenings.

So, if there is a slight chance that you'd be able to make it, I'd say, don't miss out! The experience is way too exciting :woohoo: , fun, educational and has been life changing for pretty much everyone.

Needless to say, it'd also be awesome to meet you for real! :)
