Hi Gang,

I have to tell you about someone some of you already know, John Jameson. John joined us at our second IGC in 2014. That year we introduced a songwriting workshop to the schedule and John jumped in with both feet. He had already been writing some stuff but camp helped kick him into warp mode and he took off furiously writing his own tunes. This led him to schedule time at Dave Nachmanoff's studio in Davis ov the last year or so and he has finished his first CD, Home. I got a copy in the mail the other day and was blown away with the quality of the songs, and the instrumentation and production that Dave brought to the project. Here are a couple songs he played at IGC 2016 that are on the album. I will have more info on the News later today on where you can get the album.

John,

Dave and Doug will have to make room at the table for you. I can hardly wait until camp to pick up a signed copy.

John,
I've always loved your performances at IGC and really missed out at IGC 2016. Both of those were excellent and I am looking forward to seeing you this year and getting a signed copy as well!

I really enjoyed watching those again. You've got such a easy style John.

What an amazing achievement. I wish you all the success with this wonderful creation John. You've got a fabulous storyteller vibe going in so many of these. I'm enjoying them and the analogies. My favorite so far is Stealing Songs. So poignant... really beautiful and really sad the more you sing it. ...

Congrats again. Break a leg. :)

Michele from Sydney.

Wow, how exciting. I just read john's post on Dave Nach's site about his experiences in the studio and it is really interesting.

Widdershins is a fantastic song title !!!

Hi John,

Have not been on the site for a bit and when I come back you've got a CD. How awesome is that. Great accomplishment. I'd like to get a signed copy at camp :)

Bob
