Welcome To Recommend A Lesson

If you know of a song that you think would make a good lesson, here is the place to bring it up. As of May, 2015 we have over 800 song lessons but are always on the lookout for more. Be sure to point out what about the song makes it a good candidate, unique or unusual, a particular part that interests you, or just that you think a bunch of members would enjoy it. An embedded video would be helpful as well.

Neil, I would be interested in learning other songs by Harry Chapin. (We already have a lesson for Taxi, and at one time you were thinking about the Taxi sequel). I know that you too are a fan of his work, and he has so many other great songs! I am also very, very interested in learning a finger style version of Amazed, by Lonestar. Thanks for giving consideration of these requests.

Not sure if you've done this, but how about Guinnevere by CSN.

I would love to see "Look Into the Sun" by Jethro Tull

Great idea, and I will put this one on a side burner, at least. Although when I think of Jethro Tull, one of my favorite of course, I can find dozens of other worthy songs for lessons.

Hi Neil and Friends,
Here is (perhaps) a challenge for you: The Daily Mail by Radiohead. My favorite Radiohead song. It's a piano-based song and the chords and progressions look challenging to transfer to guitar, but I figure if anyone can do it you can.
Thanks for considering!
Chris

Neil, I'd really love to see you add another song to your James Taylor collection. Oh, great job on Copperline Road by the way.

But My suggestion would be "Mexico" by JT.
Another song that I suggested a while back is "Please come to Boston" by Dave Loggins.

Hope you've had a great 4th weekend.

Scott

Hi Scott,

Those both are still on my radar.

Chris,

Great to hear from you again and thanks for the Radiohead suggestion. It will be quite challenging to transcribe to a guitar version but I will not rule it out just yet.
