Finger style lesson Sunshine on my shoulders by John Denver

If you know of a song that you think would make a good lesson, here is the place to bring it up. As of May, 2015 we have over 800 song lessons but are always on the lookout for more. Be sure to point out what about the song makes it a good candidate, unique or unusual, a particular part that interests you, or just that you think a bunch of members would enjoy it. An embedded video would be helpful as well.

Been picking & strumming it and singing it since a beginner just five short years ago but I would like to be able to do it the way John Denver did one day... Hopefully, The Gweedster9

Thanks for the request and I will add this to my list. This video pretty much shows what he is doing. See what you can learn by ear from it. Don't be fooled by the capo at the 3rd fret. His 12-string is tuned down 1/2 step. If you are in standard tuning the capo will be at the 1st fret.
