And one of my all-time favorite folk groups from the '60s: the Jim Kweskin Jug Band, featuring a very young and very adorable Maria Muldaur. Note that this video got clipped off at 1:40.

I'll leave you with this terrific performance by Bud & Travis, a duo whose albums I wore out in the '60s. Interestingly, half of their repertoire including songs sung in Spanish, which is true of this absolutely terrific version of the classic La Bamba ... as performed on the old Ozzie & Harriet Show.

By the way, Charlie Parr plays in open G a lot, so it's very timely for this site, too. 1922 for sure is in that tuning - the others might be, too, not sure offhand.
