Beverly Craven is a new artist in the TG Library, and thanks to Nesh we now have a lesson on her hit Promise Me.

Beverley Craven is a British singer-songwriter best known for her 1991 hit single 'Promise Me'. It appears on her self titled debut album, for which she wrote all the songs.

The song features a beautiful piano arrangement and this lesson teaches a fingerstyle arrangement similar to hers.

It needs to be mentioned that it's certainly not a beginners song (intermediate/advanced). For one, the fingerpicking is fast, and there are many chords, shapes and fingerings. Those get more and more challenging throughout the arrangement.

As for the key, it starts out in Am (Capo III), takes a few twists and turns, with chords out of the key, and changes to the key of F in the Chorus.

We take a look at all that in great detail. We go through every part of the progression and several ways of playing those for both hands. That said, it's written down (partly) in tablature, but not in stone. So it is encouraged to mix and match, basically to make it your own with everything you've hopefully learned from this lesson.
